Heather Engel, Owner Heather Engel - Heather@TrueNorthRelocation.com

I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno, one of my best friends encouraged me to try freight forwarding. Shortly after I took my first forwarding job, in October 1994, I knew that I was hooked. During the first 10 years of my career I worked for Corporate World Relocation, Lincoln International and Overseas Relocation Services. In March 2004, I obtained a S.B.A. loan and started True North Relocation, LLC. I believe in communication and honesty throughout the moving process and I have worked hard to promote the International Moving Industry. I was instrumental in starting YP-35, a young professionals group within the HHGFAA, and served as it's first Vice Chairman. In 2004, I was elected, and began serving as the first President of the Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Fund for the Household Goods Forwarders Association of America. Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns regarding your relocation or any aspect of the moving industry.

Brian Keough - Brian@TrueNorthRelocation.com

I began my career in the moving industry in 1990, working as a mover for a local port agent/moving & storage co. in Tacoma, WA. I worked my way up the ladder quickly, and in 1994 what started as a summer job, suddenly became a career opportunity, when I was offered the General Manager position. I managed that port agency until 1997 and was then offered a sales position at a freight forwarding firm in Seattle. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with the forwarding side of this industry, particularity the Alaska business. I was lucky to have been mentored by the Alaska guru, Dan Allnoch and the AK division has been a passion of mine ever since. I have been fortunate to have made many friends and working relationships with agents all over the great state of Alaska, as well as the "lower 48", and I look forward to many more years working in the freight forwarding business.

I have lived in the Pacific Northwest my entire life. I started in the Moving & Storage Industry in 1996 at a Military Port Agent in Tacoma, WA routing Baggage shipments throughout the U.S. I went to work for a local Freight Forwarder handling documentation for International Relocations in 1997 and worked my way up to Import Sales in 2000. I handled all inbound traffic for 5 years before coming to True North Relocation in 2007. My favorite part of my job is working with people from around the world.
